Hi, I'm Hunter 👋
I'm a software engineer from Clarkston, Washington. I'm currently building a mobile app, Gainify, in Sandbox. I'm passionate about building software that improves the health of a community of people, whether that be physically, mentally, financially, etc. I am currently a senior at BYU studying computer science and business. I'm headed out to Seattle this summer to work at Microsoft as a Software Engineer Intern.
What I Love
Not that anyone is really going to read this (If you are reading this, you are either extremely bored or forced to lol!)... I have learned to really enjoy software engineering because it requires a lot of problem solving, creativity, and grit. It's so satisfying when you can solve a complex problem by breaking it down, solving sub-problems, and working your way up and finally being able to see the results. I love 1) building business products that make money, 2) health & fitness (working out), and 3) family.
Work & School
Nothing special here. Just a student at BYU studying computer science and business. I'm also working on a startup called Gainify, a mobile app that allows users to copy their favorite athletes' workouts and track their progress. I'll be working at Microsoft this summer as a Software Engineer Intern.
Hobbies
If I'm not coding, I like to spend my time playing basketball and lifting weights. I also enjoy reading 📚, traveling, journalling, and spending time with my wife and family.
